Not everyone will be able to follow a game designer career. This career path calls for an all-rounder. In the first instance you must be quite artistic. The job requires a lot of creativity. You should have no problem working as part of a team. The frustrating aspect of the work is that often you will only be responsible for a small part of the bigger picture. Practical experience is the best way by far to gain the necessary knowledge in this industry.
